The Gutlehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (rejected). All workpieces and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following established standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
