Your split system moves air through your home or workplace every day. Over time, dust, moisture and mould build up on the coil, fan and drain tray, where a basic filter clean can’t reach. Our split system aircon cleaning removes built-up mould and dust from the indoor unit and the outdoor condenser, and helps support cleaner indoor air. A cleaning treatment is applied to the coil and the parts in the air path to break down built-up dust, grime and mould.
3
The loosened build-up is washed out of the unit.
4
Surfaces in the air path are sanitised and a deodoriser is applied.
5
A final fogging treatment finishes the clean.
Deep Clean Restoration also includes taking the outer casing apart and putting it back together, plus cleaning the pipes.
Don’t settle for a quick wipe-down. Watch our trained technicians safely take apart a wall-mounted aircon, attach catchment bags and use a pressurised wash and sanitiser to flush out built-up dust and mould.
Split System Cleaning for the Indoor and Outdoor Unit
Many people search for a split system service when what their unit needs is a clean. Our split system service is a hygiene service: we inspect your aircon and deep clean it.
We don’t repair mechanical faults such as refrigerant leaks, fan motors or electrical parts. If your unit isn’t cooling or makes unusual noises, call a licensed technician. If it smells musty, looks dusty or hasn’t been cleaned in a year, you’re in the right place.
The outdoor unit sits outside all year. Dust, dirt and debris collect on the fins and around the fan, which is why we offer aircon condenser cleaning as an add-on.
Our external condenser clean removes surface build-up from the outdoor unit. Add it to any package for $35*, so the inside and outside of your split system are cleaned in one visit.
Not sure which one? Tell us what you’ve noticed and we’ll recommend the right clean before you book.
Chemical Treatment for Older Units starts from $85, Deep Clean Maintenance from $129 and Deep Clean Restoration from $179. An external condenser clean can be added for $35. We confirm the price before you book.
It depends on how much you use your split aircon and where you live. Many people book a clean before summer, and units that run most of the year may need one more often.
Deep Clean Maintenance (DCM) is regular hygiene cleaning for units that are looked after. Deep Clean Restoration (DCR) is a more thorough clean, with the outer casing taken apart, for units with heavy build-up, mould or years of neglect.
Every clean starts with an inspection. We then apply a chemical treatment, do a hydro pressure wash, sanitise and deodorise the unit, and finish with fogging. Deep Clean Restoration also includes taking the outer casing apart, cleaning the pipes and putting everything back together.
Our split system service is a hygiene service. We inspect and deep clean your unit, but we don’t repair mechanical faults. If your unit has a fault, a licensed technician should look at it.
Washing the filter is a good habit between professional cleans. It won’t reach the coil, fan and drain tray inside the indoor unit, where dust and mould build up.
A musty smell can mean moisture, dust and mould have built up inside the unit, though it can have other causes. A deep clean removes built-up mould and dust and helps support cleaner indoor air.
No. Cleaning removes dust and mould, but it doesn’t repair faults like refrigerant or electrical problems. A licensed technician should check a unit that isn’t cooling.
Yes. An external condenser clean can be added to any package for $35. It removes surface build-up from the outdoor unit.
